Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to lead large and complex change and/or system implementation projects for West Northamptonshire Council and our partners. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Define and lead projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with experts from IT, Finance, HR, and other departments to understand business drivers and leverage knowledge and expertise.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
- Experience in complex technical projects, particularly where integrations between multiple systems are required.
- Background in Financial services or IT, with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (Unit 4) and Office 365.
- Experience in people Change Management, ideally in relation to technical projects.
