Senior Project Manager Role

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead change projects that drive strategic objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements are met.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring they are properly resourced and have the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budget.
  • Creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Management of project risks, ensuring risk, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.

  • Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.
