Job Description

UCFB College of Football Business Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employability and Career Planning Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery of employability and career planning services to students, ensuring a high-quality experience and excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and deliver employability and career planning advice and guidance services, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Manage a caseload of students requiring targeted support, providing guidance and advice to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Develop and maintain departmental resources, including online and physical reference collections, to support student employability and career planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely logging of support interactions and data changes, producing relevant analyses and reports as required.
  • Represent the Student Support Department at internal committees and groups, promoting the department's services and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in employability and career planning, with a strong understanding of the higher education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including data protection and confidentiality.
