Building Manager

At Dixon Walter, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities department, you will be responsible for the strategy, operations, and compliance of our complex and evolving estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement estate strategies that align with the University's vision and objectives.
- Oversee the maintenance and security of the built estate, ensuring that it meets the needs of our three Faculties and all Professional Services areas.
- Work closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and the wider Executive Board to ensure that our estate supports our net zero carbon and wider sustainability objectives.
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services and ensure that our estate is well-maintained and secure.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in estate management, facilities management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the University's objectives.
