About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Babcock International Group as a Facilities Build Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising the construction of secure facilities for processing and storing sensitive assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site FSC management plans to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Design complex security build projects that meet contract requirements and relevant build standards.
  • Act as technical lead in managing build standards and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide timely advice and accurate interpretations of security conditions.
  • Act as key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in the defence or public sector.
  • Working knowledge of GOV S, JSP, or relevant publications.
  • Strong background delivering design advice for secure facilities meeting NPSA requirements.
  • Experience producing accurate security risk assessments and recommending mitigations.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified or HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant discipline with extensive experience.
  • Security Clearance (SC) with ability to gain Developed Vetting (DV) if required.
