Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, systems, and equipment
  • Monitor building system operations and performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Utilize multiple trade skills to complete tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Inspect and maintain building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors
  • Complete maintenance and repair records as required
  • Review and estimate work orders, ordering necessary materials and supplies
  • Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency and reduce operating costs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification or degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
