Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement testing strategies and plans, conduct tests, and perform statistical data analysis for new product launches and existing products as required by various departments.
  • Engage in the design and commissioning of new testing equipment, rigs, and jigs, as well as software and firmware for diverse testing applications, including simulation and automation in compliance with established processes.
  • Utilize statistical methods to validate product performance.
  • Apply Six Sigma methodologies and statistical tools in various testing scenarios.
  • Oversee test technicians in executing tests and documenting results in accordance with standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Innovate and validate new testing apparatus, emphasizing automation through LabVIEW and other programming languages.
  • Provide product and testing expertise to interdisciplinary project teams as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a professional network with international testing facilities.
  • Coordinate testing procedures and setups with global testing laboratories.
  • Contribute to the activities of the Test Engineer Network.
  • Update testing equipment to meet industry standards and requirements.
  • Maintain departmental standards and procedures, including 6S, testing protocols, SOPs, and health and safety compliance.
  • Implement improvements in testing equipment and processes.
  • Address requests from other departments.
  • Complete projects and tasks aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Work on-site as required.
Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science.
  • Experience in laboratory testing and statistical analysis, either academically or in a professional setting.
  • Some exposure to engineering or scientific environments beyond academic studies.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and LabVIEW.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with a curious disposition.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information.
