Key Responsibilities
  • Decarbonisation Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategies to decarbonise heating systems, collaborating with various departments to ensure effective implementation.
  • Heat Network Management: Oversee the planning, procurement, and management of heat pump and network projects, including feasibility assessments and business case development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a change agent by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, staying informed about advancements in energy and heat decarbonisation.
  • Funding and Resource Management: Lead efforts to secure funding for heat decarbonisation initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and resource allocation.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide strategic advice on balancing building retrofits and clean heating system deployment, working with experts as needed.
  • External Representation: Represent the company in external forums related to net-zero carbon heat, collaborating with other organizations and regional bodies.
Requirements
