About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including community clinics and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of blood samples
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or QCF level 2 in a related subject
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in phlebotomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
