Role Overview:

The Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham is a dedicated outpatient facility focused on providing individualized therapy for a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents.

This clinic collaborates closely with the Priory Hospital Woodbourne, ensuring seamless continuity of care should inpatient treatment be required. Our team comprises highly qualified consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and psychotherapists, all experts in their respective healthcare fields.

In response to the growing demand for mental health services, we are expanding our cadre of Consultant Psychiatrists.

We are seeking Consultants in General Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to enhance our offerings.

This role allows for a flexible work arrangement, incorporating both in-person and remote consultations.

Applicants will need to register with various private medical insurance providers to facilitate services for our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat a varied outpatient demographic.
  • Supervise the care of inpatients within your area of expertise.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychologists.
  • Participate in quality improvement and governance initiatives.
  • Develop your practice in line with the esteemed reputation of Bristol Priory.
  • Network with professional peers and referral sources.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development and fulfill Revalidation requirements.

At Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham, our professionals are dedicated to delivering effective outpatient care within a nurturing and therapeutic environment, assisting clients in overcoming mental health challenges and leading fulfilling lives.

In addition to clinical expertise, candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a conscientious approach to documentation and patient record maintenance.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • GMC registration with relevant specialist credentials.
  • Experience in psychiatry and substance misuse.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory.
