Role Overview:
The Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham serves as a dedicated outpatient facility located in Birmingham, specializing in delivering personalized therapy for adults, children, and adolescents.
Our clinic collaborates closely with the Priory Hospital Woodbourne, ensuring seamless care continuity should inpatient treatment be required. The team comprises highly skilled consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and psychotherapists, all experts in their respective healthcare domains.
In response to the rising demand for mental health services, we are expanding our cadre of Consultant Psychiatrists.
We are currently in search of Consultants specializing in General Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
This role provides the flexibility to conduct both in-person and remote consultations.
Candidates will need to register with various private medical insurance providers to facilitate our corporate clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage a diverse outpatient demographic.
- Supervise the care of inpatients within your specialty.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychologists.
- Participate in quality enhancement and governance initiatives.
- Grow your practice in alignment with the esteemed reputation of Bristol Priory.
- Network with professional peers and referral sources.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and meet Revalidation standards.
The Priory Group operates a network of Priory Wellbeing Centres throughout the UK, providing exceptional outpatient care for various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, and addictions, alongside a dedicated service for young individuals. At Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham, our specialists are devoted to delivering effective outpatient treatment in a nurturing and therapeutic environment, aiding clients in overcoming mental health challenges and leading fulfilling lives.
Candidate Qualifications:
- GMC registration with relevant specialist credentials.
- Experience in psychiatry and substance misuse.
- Comprehensive understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory.
