Job Title: Charity Treasurer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Charity Treasurer. As a key member of our Board, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of budgets, accounts, and financial statements.
  • Ensure that the financial resources of the charity meet its present and future needs.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, including reserves management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and overviews at Board meetings.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
  • Liaise with our chartered accountancy firm, book-keeping partner, and other stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of our fundraising strategy and help identify new revenue streams.
Person Specification:
  • Strong financial management and governance skills.
  • Experience in working with charities or non-profit organizations.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed financial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
