Charity Treasurer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasurer to join our board of trustees at Charity People. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial direction of our organization and ensuring we remain financially sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chair the Finance and Operations Committee, providing strategic guidance and oversight
  • Report to the board on financial matters, including budget and audit
  • Act as the first point of contact between the board and executive team on financial matters

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Application Process:

We use Applied, a behavioural science-backed recruitment platform, to ensure a fair and diverse hiring process. You will be asked to complete three work sample questions, which will be scored anonymously by our hiring team. Once all answers are scored, we will review candidate CVs and make a shortlist for interview.

First interviews will take place online, and second interviews will be held in-person at our office in Victoria. We will reimburse off-peak travel expenses. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs or require reasonable adjustments.
