Job Description

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering communications content and campaigns that engage and raise awareness of the company's purpose, strategy, and goals with both internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communications Strategy: Work with the communications team to develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies key messages and effectively utilizes internal and external channels.
  • Content Creation: Devise and deliver communications plans against objectives, utilizing a variety of creative and compelling content to engage target audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to gain an understanding of projects and activities that require impactful communications support.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Build measures into all activities to contribute to an overall metrics-driven picture of communications impact and use measures to inform future communications activities.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Planning and Organizing Skills: Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Content Development: Experience in developing content for a variety of channels, including digital and face-to-face.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Communications Best Practice: Solid knowledge of communications best practice and ability to apply it in a business setting.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand complex and technical information and translate it into engaging content for a variety of audiences.
  • Proven Success: Proven success in delivering communications activities and campaigns.
Desirable Skills:
  • Media Management: Excellent media management skills and a sense of what makes a news story.
  • Digital Platforms: Knowledge of digital platforms, including content management systems.
  • Photography and Videography: Interest or skills in photography, videography, and editing.
