Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the AP/AR Operations Team: Engage, motivate, evaluate, and develop the financial, practical, and teamwork skills of the AP/AR operations team.
  • Process Improvement: Develop systems and processes that reduce the administration of payments and manual interventions required.
  • Guest Payment Process and Commercial Payment Terms: Ensure guest payment process and commercial payment terms are optimized to accommodate revenue growth and the customer journey.
  • Financial Query Reduction: Develop systems, process, training, and communication that reduce the volume of financial or transactional queries, deal with root cause, and ensure a swift response and resolution.
  • Financial Control Framework: Ensure a robust control framework for finance that continues to build on best practices, continually improving systems to meet evolving organizational needs, technological opportunities, and scaling for growth.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Focus on financial management, financial controls, and reporting upon them.
  • Multi-Financial System Skills: Strong skills in financial systems, desirable with Oracle, and highly computer literate.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the finance industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent Excel and other MS systems skills, with systems and control environment experience using Oracle NetSuite.
