Overview of Your Role
As a Lead for HVDC Control and Protection Integration and Testing, you will spearhead the entire software development lifecycle during project execution.


Your Daily Responsibilities
You will take charge of a team of software engineers, guiding them in the development and integration of cutting-edge Control and Protection systems for HVDC applications.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the C&P software development process from initiation to final customer acceptance, ensuring adherence to all system requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent requirements engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading a team of software engineers through the development and integration phases.
  • Defining acceptance tests in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating both offsite and onsite acceptance testing, compiling test reports, and tracking outstanding issues.
  • Monitoring development and testing progress, providing regular updates to project management.
  • Advocating for a model-based engineering approach and promoting effective use of X-in-the-loop environments to meet project objectives in terms of time and quality.
  • Collaborating closely with project management and leads to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
  • Assisting tender teams in bid projects by planning and estimating integration and testing tasks.

Qualifications You Bring
A degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Automation Engineering) or a related technical field, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in Control and Protection systems for large-scale industrial converter applications, particularly in HVDC or similar electrical converter systems.


Flexibility to engage in on-site work during customer acceptance testing phases is essential. Experience in leading small engineering or commissioning teams is advantageous. Proficiency in English is required.
