About the Role

As a Social Worker in our Adult Social Care team, you will work with adults and their families who have complex social needs and are more vulnerable due to disability, exclusion, or diminished capacity. Your goal will be to maximize their potential to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop care plans for vulnerable adults
  • Work with multi-agency teams to provide a supportive framework for adults with complex needs
  • Chair meetings with clients, family members, carers, and other professionals to develop strong relationships and provide effective support
  • Travel around Essex to visit clients and attend meetings
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
  • At least 1 year's social work experience and evidence of continuing professional development
  • Capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance
