Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Coordination: Work closely with the Reservations Manager to coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Team Management: Delegate tasks to team members, assign duties, and prepare work schedules to ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Procedures: Ensure that all administrative procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with departmental and hotel guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Work with the Reservations Manager to implement and deliver individual and departmental training plans to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Group Sales: Work closely with the groups team to analyze and respond to all group sales inquiries within brand standard timeframes.
  • Contract Preparation: Assist in the preparation of contracts for the leisure segment, including FIT, group allocation, and series.
  • Revenue Management: Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Manager to set daily pricing and business strategies for all segments to maximize occupancy and ADR.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare departmental financial and KPI results for presentation at monthly departmental meetings and weekly commercial meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a hotel reservations team.
  • Skills: Problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of reservations, Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Revenue Management: Understanding of Revenue Management principles.
