About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Brand Design Director to lead the creative direction of all digital design across the company. This role will oversee our e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and digital retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creative direction of all digital channels, ensuring consistency and excellence in design.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Focus on elevating the design work, spotting opportunities for bolder work, and constantly pushing for creative excellence.
  • Develop and execute a variety of digital design briefs that meet the objectives of key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering results that exceed their expectations.
  • Work closely with multiple departments to plan campaigns from a digital perspective, aligning with our Head of Design to ensure 360-degree campaigns.
  • Lead the look and feel for our trade peak focuses of the year.
  • Constantly look at how we can elevate the site's performance, working with key stakeholders to launch these projects.
  • Use data at the forefront of design decisions, planning, and testing concepts to amplify the site's KPIs.
  • Design from a mobile-first viewpoint, putting the customer first in all design decisions.
  • Work closely with our in-house Software Engineer, briefing in all front-end website content that's needed, while understanding the platforms we use.
  • Create content for multiple brands, maintaining brand consistency in all work undertaken.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines, while also understanding your team's capabilities and workload, and managing brief timelines.
  • Design and tailor all content to the needs of each region/market for local execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the e-commerce/digital design industry.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of creatives.
  • A portfolio showcasing creativity and strategic thinking.
  • A passion for animation/motion design to elevate paid social channels.
  • A deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
  • Willingness to take risks and push creative boundaries.
  • A passion for developing and nurturing talent in your team.
  • Experience working on e-commerce CMS platforms, with good experience writing HTML and CSS code.
  • Proficient in all Adobe software, Figma, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
