Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Brand and Design Director to join our client's in-house creative team. As a Brand and Design Director, you will be responsible for leading the development of the company's brand identity and visual style. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all marketing materials are consistent with the brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's brand strategy and visual style
  • Lead the design team to create innovative and effective marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all marketing materials are consistent with the brand guidelines
  • Manage the design agency relationships and ensure that all design work meets the company's standards
  • Provide design direction to colleagues across the company and their external agencies
  • Develop and maintain the company's brand asset library

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management and design
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe layout and design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of web/digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of the key elements of both print-production and the production of online media
  • Ability to supervise more junior members of staff and be the design and brand leader
  • Experience of successfully managing design agencies, printers, and other suppliers
  • Good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Team player with the ability to establish a rapport and credibility, and to remain diplomatic but firm and resolute on brand positioning
