Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Town Planner to join our esteemed planning team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute their expertise to a reputable organization at the forefront of the care home development sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough site appraisals and evaluations, identifying potential opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare comprehensive planning applications, reports, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Engage in effective communication with Planning Officers, local authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the application process.
- Represent the company at Planning Committee meetings and appeals, advocating for successful outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Town Planning role within the private or public sector, including consultancy, local authority, development, or land promotion.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- A keen interest in the entire land and planning process, demonstrating a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Full UK driving license.
