Job Description

Biocon Biologics is a leading company in the biosimilars revolution, where patients come first. We are creating a model for the future of healthcare for all, with a long-term commitment to bringing high-quality affordable biosimilars to patients globally.

The Director Medical Affairs Strategy Europe will develop a differentiated Medical Affairs strategy tailored to the needs of the biosimilars environment in Europe. This role will take Medical Affairs to the next level in terms of content and delivery, leveraging the unique aspects of biosimilars, such as familiarity and confidence in the concept of bio similarity.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare systems and decision-making processes in Europe, as well as experience in developing and implementing projects and initiatives to leverage this understanding. They will also have a strong track record of scientific acumen, communicative skills, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate a deep understanding of healthcare systems and decision-making processes in Europe
  • Develop and implement projects and initiatives to leverage this understanding
  • Draft and publish scientific manuscripts on biosimilar-related topics
  • Develop educational material and conduct educational sessions on biosimilar-related topics
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create synergies and efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic qualification in the life sciences
  • Noteworthy experience in scientific acumen, communicative skills, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to critically appraise research in the clinical sciences field
  • Practical familiarity with the contemporary Medical Affairs environment
  • Professional fluency in at least one continental European language
