Job Title: Medical Affairs Strategy Director

The Director of Medical Affairs Strategy Europe will play a crucial role in developing a tailored Medical Affairs strategy for the European continent. This forward-thinking position will leverage the company's expanding portfolio of biosimilar products to drive growth and innovation in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of European healthcare systems and decision-making processes as they relate to biosimilars.
  • Design and implement projects to leverage this understanding, including educational initiatives and research activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create synergies and efficiencies in meeting the Medical Affairs mandate.
  • Develop and publish scientific manuscripts on biosimilar-related topics, including real-world evidence, health economics, and clinical audits.
  • Design and deliver educational sessions on biosimilar-related topics, such as clinical perspectives on comparability exercises and comparative tolerability and safety.
Requirements:
  • Relevant academic qualification, such as a Ph.D. or MD, with a clinical perspective.
  • Noteworthy experience in scientific acumen, communicative skills, and strategic thinking, with a track record of delivering on entrusted activities.
  • Ability to critically appraise research in the clinical sciences field, including study methodology and statistical techniques.
  • Practical familiarity with the Medical Affairs environment, its practices, and governing legislation, as well as working knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • A solid understanding of the European healthcare environment and its stakeholders, including policy makers, advocacy groups, and payors.
  • Proficiency in the English language and professional fluency in at least one continental European language.
