Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Alina Homecare in Eastleigh. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Attend appointments with clients to provide emotional support and companionship
- Accompany clients to day centres and social activities to promote social interaction and fun
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support clients with shopping and budgeting to ensure they have access to essential items
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
