About the Role

Cavendish Maine is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team in the North of England. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the flooring and decorative products industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, including key decision-makers and influencers
  • Source and convert new leads into sales, and further develop new account relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the flooring and decorative products industry
  • Strong understanding of the events and exhibition environment, including the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
