About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Solicitor to join our team at Law Absolute Limited. As a Childcare Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in childcare matters, including public law care proceedings, adoption, and child protection.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, with experience in childcare cases. You will be able to work independently, managing a caseload of complex matters, and provide high-quality advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in childcare matters, including public law care proceedings, adoption, and child protection
  • Manage a caseload of complex childcare cases, providing high-quality advice and representation to clients
  • Undertake advocacy on behalf of our clients in relevant courts and tribunals
  • Draft legal documents and prepare for court proceedings
  • Work closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX of England and Wales with a current practising certificate. You will also need to have a strong background in family law, with experience in childcare cases.

You will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work under pressure, managing multiple cases and deadlines, and provide high-quality advice and representation to our clients.
