Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Operations Manager to join our team at CCG Head Office. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our credit operations and ensuring the smooth financial management of our care homes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Credit Notes & Refunds: Oversee the credit note and refunds process with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Handle Banking Transactions: Take charge of daily and weekly cash uploads, ensuring that all cash is allocated correctly and that our financial records are up-to-date.
- Monitor Cashflow: Regularly update and review cashflow forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis, helping us stay on track financially and make informed business decisions.
- Month-End Reporting: Lead the month-end process, ensuring that accounts are closed accurately for debtor reporting and that our financial statements are complete and accurate.
- Maintain Records: Keep the Central Process File up to date, maintaining meticulous records of all financial transactions and ensuring that our financial data is accurate and reliable.
- Liaise with Key Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and resolve any financial issues that may arise.
- Credit Control Experience: Prior experience in credit control is preferred, but we value a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Sage 200 and Xero is a plus, though not essential. Strong IT skills, especially in Excel, are key.
- Methodical Approach: You are methodical in your daily routine, structuring your tasks to meet all deadlines with ease and ensuring that your work is accurate and reliable.
- Organizational Excellence: Highly organized, you manage your time and tasks efficiently, juggling multiple responsibilities across several homes and ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You can identify potential delays, account queries, and manage ledgers effectively, ensuring smooth financial operations and resolving any issues that may arise.
CCG Head Office is a market-leading, family-owned care group operating over 70 homes across the UK. We are passionate about creating fantastic care homes for our residents to live in and a supportive and fun environment for our team to work in.
