Job Title: Technical Accounting Specialist

SmartSourcing plc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Accounting Specialist, you will provide expert advice and guidance on IFRS 17 technical accounting matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide IFRS 17 technical accounting advice and guidance to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement IFRS 17 implementation plans and strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors and internal teams
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting rules, chart of accounts, and ledger posting
  • Assist in ensuring that reporting solutions used across the Finance function are fit for purpose in the rollout of IFRS 17
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IFRS 17 technical accounting and implementation
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
