Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Group Technical Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide technical accounting guidance and support to the team.
- Monitor existing and new accounting policies to ensure compliance with IFRS and regulations.
- Cross-functional collaboration with tax, treasury, legal, and M&A teams to drive business growth.
- Facilitate external auditors and advisors to ensure seamless financial reporting.
- Lead the development and implementation of IFRS reporting strategies.
Requirements
- ACA qualified with experience in technical accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience working with multinational companies, preferably with UK or US listings.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 9, 15 & 16, SOX, and internal frameworks.
- Expertise in SEC regulations and requirements.
- Ability to challenge current processes and promote continuous development.
