About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our team at NatWest. As a Technical Content Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and revise technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Organize and maintain a documentation repository, including version control, release notes, and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
  • Research and gather information from subject matter experts, feature teams, technical documents, and existing resources to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the documentation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, user manuals, software documentation, and instructional guides.
  • Work closely with product owners, product managers, engineers, and architects to stay up-to-date with product updates, changes, and developments, facilitating smooth information exchange for accurate documentation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Content Specialist in a tech organization.
  • Passion for creating high-quality technical documentation.
  • Excellent command over language, grammar, and technical writing conventions to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts, including API specifications, and the ability to grasp complex ideas quickly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a desire to continuously improve processes and ways of working to increase value.
  • Willingness to adapt to different projects, work with cross-functional teams, and actively communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful collaboration and the ability to meet project goals.
