Electro Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Fault finding and rectifying defects in industrial equipment
- Identifying and replacing worn or damaged components
- Performing basic electrical testing to assess the condition of AC and DC components
- Using mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty components and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options
- Working with pumps, including hot oil and water pumps, and having basic hydraulic knowledge
As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will work in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and participate in a call-out rota as needed.
You will also be required to work on-site in addition to the workshop when required. Site working experience is a distinct advantage, and suitable qualifications such as the CCNSG passport are preferable.
