We are seeking a skilled Guest Service Manager to join our team at ibis Styles Barnsley. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front office team to provide excellent customer service
  • Oversee the operation of the reception, bar, restaurant, and conference facilities
  • Ensure the hotel's PMS system is used effectively to manage guest bookings and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work closely with the Duty Manager to ensure seamless operations during peak periods

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with PMS systems such as Opera
