Role Overview

MGA Entertainment seeks a highly analytical and motivated Demand Planner & Sales Analyst to oversee accurate forecasting and planning across Amazon EU locales. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The successful candidate will provide insightful analysis to optimize sales performance across European marketplaces. They will be responsible for reporting and performance analysis of the Amazon business, capturing data to drive informed decisions, maintain demand plans, implement optimizations, and champion data-driven methodologies.

Role Responsibilities

Demand Planning (75%)

  • Generate weekly reports encompassing ePOS, inventory, and sales-in data.
  • Communicate forecast horizons and inventory requirements to the Supply Chain team.
  • Review replenishment order trends and fill rates for continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential item availability issues and implement solutions.
  • Calculate accurate forecasts and compare them to internal projections.
  • Upload weekly inventory data with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide support for ad hoc analysis requests as needed.

Analysis (25%)

  • Analyze data to determine the performance of digital sales channels.
  • Forecast outcomes and identify opportunities to enhance product availability.
  • Drive performance against forecasts, maximizing accuracy and building reliable projections.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business insights and opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in forecasting within a relevant industry.
  • A strong understanding of Amazon's ordering processes and the digital retail landscape.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear and concise information sharing.
  • A background in the retail industry is preferred.
