Job Title: Lead Engineer – Bioprocess Integration

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to lead the integration of bioprocess technologies. You'll be responsible for designing, planning, and executing studies to support technology or process/product development projects. Your expertise will help us drive conclusions from study data and develop innovative solutions to improve our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement intensification strategies for protein purification, ensuring robust and efficient processes.
  2. Perform process modeling and manufacturing cost analysis to benchmark process intensification strategies, driving business value and competitiveness.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for integrated protein purification in a manufacturing setting, creating development plans that meet business objectives.
  4. Develop procedures to ensure equipment and unit operations are compatible with integration and automation, ensuring seamless process execution.
  5. Define the strategy for monitoring and controlling integrated protein purification, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  6. Setup integrated purification processes at lab-scale, working closely with automation and digitalization specialists to drive innovation.
  7. Design and execute studies, collate, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets to achieve project targets, driving business results.
  8. Write and execute detailed study plans with associated timelines, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  9. Author technical reports and publications with scientifically supported conclusions and recommendations, showcasing your expertise and thought leadership.
Requirements:
  • Maintain accurate and timely records to appropriate quality standards, preparing high-quality technical analyses and reports for internal or external use.
  • Support team resource planning, project management activities, and prioritization decisions, ensuring seamless collaboration and business outcomes.
  • Adhere to good laboratory practices and support housekeeping and maintenance activities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain documentation describing configurations and setup of integrated processes, process flow sheets, and cost models, ensuring transparency and accountability.
