Job Title: Lead Engineer – Bioprocess Integration

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to lead the integration of bioprocess technologies. You'll be responsible for designing, planning, and executing studies to support technology or process/product development projects. Your expertise will help us drive conclusions from study data and develop innovative solutions to improve our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement intensification strategies for protein purification, ensuring robust and efficient processes.
  2. Perform process modeling and manufacturing cost analysis to benchmark process intensification strategies.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for integrated protein purification in a manufacturing setting and create development plans.
  4. Develop procedures to ensure equipment and unit operations are compatible with integration and automation.
  5. Define the strategy for monitoring and controlling integrated protein purification processes.
  6. Setup integrated purification processes at lab-scale in collaboration with automation and digitalization specialists.
  7. Design and execute studies, collate, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets to achieve project targets.
  8. Write and execute detailed study plans with associated timelines.
  9. Author technical reports and publications with scientifically supported conclusions and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Maintain accurate and timely records to appropriate quality standards for self and team.
  • Prepare high-quality technical analyses and reports for internal or external use.
  • Support team resource planning, project management activities, and prioritization decisions.
  • Adhere to good laboratory practices and support housekeeping and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain documentation describing configurations and setup of integrated processes, process flow sheets, and cost models.
