Job Title: Audio Visual Design Consultant

About the Role:

As a key member of the Unified Support team, we are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Design Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality CAD drawings, schematics, elevations, and plans for commercial AV installations using Stardraw.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing System Flow Schematics, AV Positional Layout Drawings, and Rack Layout Drawings on a weekly basis.
  • Creating full installation AV Schematics and As-Builts, as well as bespoke metal work design.
  • Assisting in the production of Cable and Components listings, including cable schedules.
  • Specialist Drawings as required for custom production work.
  • Tracking changes and developments in drawings & plans, updating AV schematics, and uploading drawings to the internal system for all users.
  • Participating in BTO (Building Technology Office) activities, tracking changes, and updating the drawing register within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting on drawings for tender specifications and raising RFIs.
  • Occasional site attendance will be required to provide on-site customer-facing pre-sales meetings, engineer and programming support, new product research and testing, and basic training on drawings for ISEs.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of new products and actively suggesting improvements on specified equipment and design.
