Role Overview: We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting both local and national engineering teams on diverse projects, including structural assessments, report generation, calculations, design, and drawing preparation for various property types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting structural assessments and producing detailed reports.
  • Performing structural design calculations and preparing technical drawings.
  • Carrying out flood damage evaluations.
  • Providing expert technical guidance to clients.
  • Creating CAD drawings and ensuring compliance with planning and building regulations.
  • Conducting site inspections and engaging with clients.
  • Monitoring contractor work and ensuring project standards are met.
  • Administering contracts and overseeing project management.
  • Evaluating the sustainability and environmental implications of projects.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field accredited by IstructE or ICE.
  • Familiarity with legal frameworks such as CDM2015 and regulations concerning listed buildings.
  • Experience in consulting engineering, surveying, and architectural planning.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire for professional advancement.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience.
