About the Role

Roc Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by identifying and developing new leads for our Sales Directors/field sales teams to pursue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate demand through outbound prospecting and convert leads generated by marketing activities.
  • Book qualified meetings for the Sales Team, creating new business opportunities.
  • Engage prospects through various channels, including telephone, email, and attend key events to build relationships.
  • Organised, driven and a team player, you will be a strong communicator with a passion to succeed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of B2B business development/lead generation experience.
  • Proven ability to book sales-qualified meetings.
  • Experience engaging with mid-management and C-Level decision-makers in mid-sized and large enterprises as well as public sector organisations.
  • Active listening skills to assess prospect needs and identify opportunities.
  • Ability to articulate a high-quality value proposition on every call.
  • Proactive, can-do mindset with the ability to manage and prioritize a varying workload.
  • Results-driven with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using online and social media tools to monitor targeted accounts and identify trigger events.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire for a career in tech sales with ambition to progress.
