We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Midwife to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Midwife, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families in the community setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their babies in the community setting.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with women, their families, and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care.
- Conduct home visits and provide education and support to women and their families to promote healthy pregnancy and childbirth outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of community-based programs and services to promote maternal and child health.
- Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience working in a community setting, preferably in a midwifery role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with women, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of community-based programs and services, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
