Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their babies in the community setting.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with women, their families, and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care.
  • Conduct home visits and provide education and support to women and their families to promote healthy pregnancy and childbirth outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of community-based programs and services to promote maternal and child health.
Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working in a community setting, preferably in a midwifery role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with women, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of community-based programs and services, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
