Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee - Economics Research to join our team. As a Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the Economics team in producing research and communicating economic analysis and insight to clients and front office staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in editing economics research and constructing and maintaining databases of economic data
  • Contribute analysis to economics research publications and edit content on the Group's economics intranet page
  • Develop own understanding and unique economic analyses and develop strong links with the Sales Force team
  • Ensure own understanding of relevant regulatory regime and contribute to the team's efforts in producing high-quality research
Requirements
  • Good understanding of Macroeconomics, Statistics, and Econometrics
  • Good basic knowledge of financial economics and Microeconomics
  • A genuine and demonstrable interest in financial markets
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and ability to work with financial databases
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills and ability to work in a team environment
