Job Summary:
Kemp Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's dynamic team as a Fleet Maintenance Specialist. This is a full-time permanent role based out of a depot in the Tamworth area, working 45 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs and EV systems, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest EV technology advancements and best practices, participating in training and development opportunities as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV technician, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Proficiency in HGV systems, components, and regulations, with a solid understanding of EV technology and charging infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
