We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles. If you have a proactive attitude, strong mechanical knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role might be suitable for you.

Job Title: HGV Mechanic

Company: Pertemps Bond

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on assets
  • Diagnose faults on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks
  • Conduct minor and major repairs on vehicles and trailers
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Prepare vehicles for inspections, servicing, and MOT
  • Keep all documentation up to date
  • Assist with any other required duties

Experience Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ Level Three qualification or equivalent
  • Have in-depth knowledge of HGVs, vans, and trailers
  • Possess a full Driving licence with C+E Entitlement
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude
