Job Overview

UPS is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice HGV Mechanic to join our team. As an Apprentice HGV Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Carry out diagnostic tests to identify and repair faults on vehicles.
  • Work with a team of experienced mechanics to achieve maintenance targets and ensure vehicles are back on the road as quickly as possible.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on vehicles.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license preferred.
  • C1, 7.5-tonne license would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Initiative, planning skills, and a flexible, enthusiastic approach.
