Fleet Assistant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Assistant Supervisor to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulance fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate work schedules to Ambulance Fleet Assistants based on scheduled maintenance, VOR, reported defects, and deep clean requirements.
  • Travel across the Leicestershire contract area to repair, service, and maintain product/equipment as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Carry out checks and replacements of electrical components within EMED guidelines.
  • Advise Fleet management team where a product cannot be successfully repaired to a safe standard.
  • Reporting equipment that had been involved in an incident to the Fleet management team.
  • Ensure all vehicles for disposal are de-kitted before collection and a log of all equipment has been taken.
Requirements:
  • Experience of repairing and servicing mechanical products.
  • Experience of using practical and mechanical skills.
  • Strong commercial appreciation of the company's markets and industry.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach with strong team working skills.
  • Hold a full (manual), valid UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points.
