Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the engineering function, ensuring that all maintenance-related activities are carried out in line with our company maintenance strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Management of the engineering function, including the fleet maintenance coordinator, fleet administrator, heavy goods technicians, fixed engineers, and field MHE engineers
* Ensuring compliance with road transport legislation, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, and the Health and Safety at Work Act
* Assisting the management team to implement change positively and effectively managing strong and weak performance
* Management of the company's computerised mobile maintenance system
* Management of stock management, including allocation, issuing, and replenishment of stock
* Preparing and presenting KPIs
* Working closely with the operational team to deliver operational targets and drive process improvement

Requirements:

* Previous experience of running a busy fleet workshop
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Previous experience of working in a fast-moving maintenance environment
* Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and other computer-based programs

Personal Specification:

* Previous experience working in the waste and recycling sector beneficial
* Good people skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a multi-skilled workforce and direct reports
* Computer literate
* Minimum 5 GCSEs including mathematics and English
* Good communication skills, written and oral
* Dynamic and tenacious approach

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Every other Saturday, 6am-11am
