Your Role: Public Sector Account Manager

As a Public Sector Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing key relationships within the public sector across your designated geographical region. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue opportunities and driving customer growth by developing and executing strategic account plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Account Development Plans (ADPs) to identify and capitalize on incremental business opportunities within existing contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level stakeholders at the political, strategic, and operational levels within your assigned accounts. Influence their technology roadmaps and foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Ensure a 100% win rate for all public sector contract renewals within your designated accounts.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining repeat business within the local government market, with a history of exceeding targets and leading transactions exceeding £1 million in value.
  • Extensive network within the public sector, coupled with a deep understanding of the market landscape. Proactive approach to identifying new relationships and collaborating with internal teams to uncover cross-functional opportunities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales, relationship development, market analysis, business planning, bid leadership, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.

This role requires adaptability, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead discussions effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring data is shared and utilized across the organization to drive success.
