We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based mental health interventions, including low-intensity cognitive behavioral therapy, to children and adolescents in educational settings. You will work closely with education professionals to foster a whole-school approach to mental well-being and provide support, advice, and consultation to families and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions to children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Work closely with education professionals to develop and implement a whole-school approach to mental well-being
  • Provide support, advice, and consultation to families and other professionals
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Experience of assessment and delivery of evidence-based mental health interventions
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development and risk assessment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid registration with a professional body (e.g., RMN, Social Work, or equivalent postgraduate qualification)
