Culinary Specialist

Aspens Services Ltd is a leading contract catering company specializing in school food. We combine our understanding of the education sector with our knowledge of food trends to create a unique and exciting culinary experience for students and staff.

We are committed to providing excellent care and services to our clients and children, and we are now seeking an experienced Cook to join our team.

As a Cook in one of our schools, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering a healthy, nutritious, and fun menu for students and staff. You will focus on delivering high-quality food and service, with a flair for creativity and originality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing menus using provided recipes
• Ensuring food hygiene, allergen, and health and safety compliance
• Producing hospitality services as per client requests
• Supervising the team
• Building relationships with clients and customers
• Providing a friendly and polite customer service experience

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You will need:

• Knowledge of education catering, using fresh ingredients, and excellent craft skills
• Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training available)
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
• Computer literacy with experience of using different systems
• Self-motivation, ability to use initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve
