Your Role

As an Optical Manager at Asda, you'll oversee and manage the entire operation. This includes managing your team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets
  • Deal with customer queries and provide excellent patient care
  • Work in close partnership with an Optometrist to coach and develop your team

Requirements

  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Confident in coaching others
  • Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively
