About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our optical department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants to deliver high-quality patient service
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Work closely with an Optometrist to ensure seamless clinic management and shop floor processes
Requirements
  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
  • Excellent customer and patient care skills
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure department meets targets
